How do we keep our cool and help the kids to remain calm during exciting times? 

The answer is planning and factoring in kids' needs, so we can head off misbehaviour and consider ideas for getting others to help with the kids (and you), to help keep things harmonious and make it a good occasion for everyone - including you -  so all the hard work and effort results in enjoyable and happy, not exhausting and frazzled!
